It’s funny how two people can grow up in the same city, go to the same high school, and move in the same circles yet never actually meet. That was us, Joshua and Kristi. Over the years, we ended up at the same events, around the same people, and even crossed paths professionally through business and community life. But somehow, we never made a real connection until the timing was just right.
After both spending years searching, learning, and growing through life and love, God had a plan of His own. A mutual friend decided to play matchmaker and set us up on a blind date. From that very first night, the connection was instant—easy conversation, genuine laughter, and that rare sense of peace that lets you know you’ve just found something special.
As our relationship grew, it quickly became clear this wasn’t just about the two of us, it was about three. From the very beginning, Kristi embraced Joshua’s daughter, Kiersten, with love, patience, and open arms. Watching the bond between them form has been one of the sweetest parts of our story. Together, we’ve built something rooted in faith, fun, and family.
And then, in our happy place, Martha’s Vineyard, Joshua got down on one knee and asked Kristi to marry him. She said yes through tears and laughter, and the rest is the beginning of forever.
We’re so grateful for God’s perfect timing and can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter together with all of you.
